                  Maulvi Nur Rahman was the founder of Jamia Millia Magazine in 1923. 

 

  Recognized by his fellow founders of the Jamia Millia as being a gifted editor, journalist, author,  and able administrator, Maulvi Nur ur Rahman was made founder and editor-in-chief of Jamia Millia Magazine in 1923. This groundbreaking publication, under Maulvi Nur ur Rahman's directorship was publishing articles in Urdu, Farsi, English and German thus making it a respected journal with international scope.

  The very first issue of Jamia Millia Magazine, Volume 1, contained these following essays:  

             Introduction by the Editor by Maulvi Nur ur Rahman

             Effects of Political Revolutions by Molvi Modi Muslim

            International Politics by Yusuf Hussain Khan
